Manuel Muñoz has published several books of fiction, notably THE FAITH HEALER ON OLIVE AVENUE, shortlisted for the Frank O'Connor international Short Story Award. He has been recognized with a Whiting Writer’s Award and three O. Henry Awards. Originally from Dinuba of Tulare County, California, Manuel Muñoz is now a Professor of English at the University of Arizona.
