The talk/workshop will include excerpts of her work and artistic practices for creating ecologies of care in the face of state violence, how we dream when our communities are under attack, how we create spaces for movement, joy and celebration amidst all of it - to study, think, work, collaborate, imagine and create together!

COLLECTIVE SONGWRITING:
Testimonio, Theory and Knowledge Production

Collective songwriting process has been utilized by Chican@ Artivistas (artist/activists) in East L.A. towards different social justice ends. We invite you to experience this liberatory process in the library collection! No music experience necessary!
